Dr Don Bell - PhD
Managing Director
Don Bell has overall responsibility for the strategic direction and financial management of the company. He was involved in the development of AQUI-S® and has a background in chemistry and biochemical engineering.
Teresa Williams
GENERAL MANAGER
Teresa has overall responsibility for the day-to-day activities of the team with specific focus in manufacturing and operations, project management, and ensuring customer satisfaction. She has over 15 years’ experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and animal health industries in Production Management, Quality Control and Research and Development, having worked in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
Olga Likhatcheva
Office Administrator
Olga ensures that administration and sales services for our clients is of the highest standard. Olga also has extensive experience in quality control and carries out Quality Assurance (QA) of finished product and internal audits of Quality Systems.
Randal Phillips - BSc
Operations and Regulatory Advisor
As the former General Manager of AQUI-S, Randal has a wealth of knowledge in all things AQUI-S. Randal now advises AQUI-S on regulatory and operational matters. Randals background is in pharmaceutical manufacture both in production and quality management capacities.
Duncan McKay
Regulatory Manager and Quality Systems Advisor
Duncan has over 35 years’ experience working in the Pharmaceutical industry and has worked in product development, quality assurance and regulatory affairs. His current areas of responsibilities include growing and maintaining the companies regulatory submissions and supporting the quality management system.
Hope Bautista
Quality Manager
Hope ensures that our products and processes meet customer and regulatory requirements. She has oversight on product release, investigative processes, change control, document management, training, supplier management and internal audits. Her experiences in the biotechnology, animal health and pharmaceutical industries give her a strong foundation on Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
Anneke Walls
QA/QC Assistant
Anneke is part of the QA Team ensuring our products and processes meet regulatory requirements. Anneke also helps with raw material and primary packaging release as well as product testing. Anneke has 30 years’ experience in laboratories and raw material release in the pharmaceutical industry.
Rob Beckett
Lab Supervisor
Rob joined AQUI-S New Zealand Ltd in August 2016 as Laboratory Supervisor. He brings to the team 23 years’ experience in pharmaceutical vaccine manufacture. He is skilled in analytical procedures and standard microbiological techniques and has experience with a wide variety of instrumentation techniques.
Panchamee Dharmadasa - PhD
QC TECHNICIAN
Panchamee brings expertise to our Quality Control team with a PhD in Chemistry. With strong background in analytical chemistry Panchamee plays a pivotal role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Gerard Janssen – PhD
TECHNICAL AND MARKETING MANAGER
Gerard provides technical support for our distributors and customers. He has a strong technical and practical capability and a background in fish physiology and behaviour. Gerard has been using AQUI-S for over 20 years.
Nora Davis - PhD
TECHNICAL AND MARKETING TECHNOLOGIST
Nora assists in providing technical support for our distributors and customers. She works to promote welfare and ensure our customers have all the information they need. Nora has a research background in marine ecology and microbiology.
Jessie Chisnall - MBmedSc
Process Chemist
Jessie’s role covers a variety of areas including product and process development, design and installation of new equipment, validation, GMP documentation and assisting with quality control and assurance activities. She has experience in synthetic organic chemistry, having completed her Masters degree in this area.
Ross Braybrook
Production Planning Coordinator
Ross’s experience in veterinary pharmaceutical manufacturing spans more than 30 years and includes large and small-scale media preparation for bacterial vaccines, adjuvant manufacture, and production of pharmaceutical ingredients to cGMP standards. As the production planning coordinator, Ross ensures production of AQUI-S products from API to final product Formulation are executed in accordance with the production plan and schedule.
